Oda MP burries Special Aide Kofi Nti on Saturday

The remains of Mr. Maxwell Kofi Anti, Aide of Akyem Oda MP, Hon. Alexander Akwasi Acquah, who died following a fatal accident in May, will be laid to rest this Saturday, September 12, 2026.

He was the General Manager of Community FM and Strong FM, and is survived by his wife, Mrs. Kate Afoakwa Anti, and three children; Ruby Annor Anti, Emeralda Afra Anti and John Boafo Anti.

According to the funeral programme released by the family, the filing past will take place at the forecourt of Community FM (formerly Vodafone), Akyem Oda, from 6:30 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. on Saturday.

It will be followed by the burial service at the same venue from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

The interment will take place at Akyem Okroso Cemetery.

The funeral rites will be held at the forecourt of Community FM, Akyem Oda, from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

On Sunday, September 13, there will be a Thanksgiving service at the Presbyterian Church (Ascension Congregation), Akyem Oda Oldtown, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

The final funeral rites will later be held at the forecourt of Community FM, Akyem Oda, from 2:00 p.m. on Sunday.

Hon. Akwasi Acquah will be joined by the Former Vice President and Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and Nana Yaw Osafo Marfo (Former MP, Akyem Oda), to give his Aide a dignified final farewell.

The occasion is expected to bring together family members, friends, sympathizers, political associates and members of the wider community to pay their final respects and celebrate the life of a dedicated soul who contributed his services in support of the work of the Member of Parliament.

His passing has undoubtedly left a void among those who knew and worked closely with him.

May the soul of the late Kofi Nti rest in perfect peace.
