Ghanaian musician AMG Armani has released screenshots of mobile money transactions and private conversations in an attempt to counter claims by his baby mama, TikToker Asantewaa, that he has failed to pay their children’s school fees.

The rapper took to TikTok to present what he described as evidence of his financial contributions towards Asantewaa and their children, adding a new twist to the increasingly public disagreement between the former partners.

The controversy has attracted attention on social media, with the latest developments centring on the competing accounts of the couple’s financial responsibilities, their relationship breakdown and the welfare of their children.

AMG Armani Shows GH¢2,000 Payment Receipt

Among the materials shared by Armani was a mobile money transaction screenshot showing a transfer of GH¢2,000 to a recipient identified as Martina on October 1, 2026. The transaction carried a message that read: “Sent money for upkeep… kindly confirm for me.”

Armani presented the payment as evidence that he had continued contributing towards the children’s upkeep despite the difficulties in his relationship with Asantewaa.

His post also suggested that the transfer was made at a time when he believed Asantewaa had publicly expressed interest in another romantic relationship.

However, the screenshot alone does not establish the full financial history between the two, nor does it confirm whether the children’s outstanding school fees have been paid in full.

The release of the receipt has nevertheless shifted part of the online discussion towards the evidence each party has presented and the distinction between general upkeep payments and specific school-fee obligations.

Rapper Challenges Claims of Financial Neglect

In a separate post, Armani disputed the impression that he had failed to support Asantewaa financially.

He alleged that he had financed a shop for her in Sowutuom for five years and questioned why his contributions were not being adequately recognised amid the current dispute.

The musician appeared to rely on this claimed financial support as part of his response to the accusations concerning the children’s school fees.

Private Messages Reveal Strain in Their Relationship

Armani also shared a lengthy personal message in which he explained why he had previously wanted time to organise his thoughts before discussing their problems with Asantewaa.

According to his account, he had several issues weighing on him emotionally and wanted to express himself clearly rather than engage in a conversation before he was ready.

The message offers a glimpse into the personal tensions behind the public disagreement, although it does not provide a complete account of what led to the breakdown of their relationship.

The musician also referred to what he described as a video in which Asantewaa expressed a desire to reconcile with him.

He indicated that he had chosen not to return to the relationship.

Despite Armani’s release of the transaction receipt and his claims about supporting Asantewaa’s business, the central issue remains whether the children’s school fees have been settled.

The controversy has also attracted attention because of separate rumours linking actress and social media personality Akuapem Poloo to Armani.

Poloo previously responded to speculation that she had been romantically involved with the rapper during the period surrounding his reported breakup with Asantewaa.

She said they first met at the wedding of AMG Deuces in 2021 and denied that a romantic relationship had developed between them.
According to Poloo, Armani had never proposed to her, and they had never gone out together. She also explained that her social media posts should not be taken as a direct reflection of her private life.
