A staff member of the Member of Parliament for Akyem Oda, Alexander Akwasi Acquah, has died following a road accident on the Oda-Nkwanta road.

The deceased, Kofi Nti, was traveling in an NPP pickup vehicle alongside its driver at the time of the crash.

The group had been on the road monitoring ongoing NPP polling station elections in the area when their vehicle was involved in a head-on collision with another car.

Three other occupants involved in the crash sustained severe injuries and have been transferred to a nearby health facility, where they are currently receiving medical care.

The circumstances leading to the head-on collision are yet to be fully established as investigations into the incident continue.
