Protozoa launches health education programme in Suhum
In a significant move to bring healthcare closer to the people, Frank Asiedu Bekoe, Member of Parliament for Suhum Constituency, officially launched his office’s Health Education Program over the weekend.
The program, aimed at improving healthcare access and promoting health awareness across the constituency, drew participation from residents of Ayekotse and surrounding communities in the constituency.
Medical professionals were on hand to provide comprehensive health screenings, including checking vital signs and conducting consultations. Patients received expert advice and prescriptions, followed by interactions with pharmacists who dispensed necessary medications.
A key feature of the program was the Quantum Resonance scan, a diagnostic tool used to assess participants’ health status.
Doctors carefully reviewed the results and provided further guidance to ensure personalized healthcare interventions.
Additionally, free registration and renewal of National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) cards were offered to participants, reinforcing the program’s inclusive approach to healthcare access.
Frank Bekoe, addressing the gathering, stressed that this initiative is part of a broader plan to replicate the program across all 29 electoral areas within the Suhum Constituency.
He urged residents to adhere strictly to medical advice, take prescribed medications as directed, and assume personal responsibility for their health.
He also assured constituents of continued follow-up through periodic phone consultations by medical personnel.

The Chief of Ayekotse, Barima Ayekotse Teinor II, lauded the MP for his foresight and commitment, urging residents to implement the health and safety recommendations provided during the program.
The Residents expressed gratitude for the initiative, emphasizing that bringing healthcare services directly to the community saves time, reduces cost barriers, and strengthens public health outcomes.
The program is part of Frank Asiedu Bekoe’s broader agenda under the themes of governance, community engagement, and sustainable development, reflecting a renewed focus on constituency-centered leadership.
